Hunter Chandler

Head Coach
Varsity Linebackers & Head Coach

Coach Chandler was born and raised in the Gallatin Valley, where he was a standout high school player and team captain for an undefeated state championship team. His success on the field earned him a scholarship to Montana State University-Northern in Havre, MT, where he excelled as a defensive back. A multiple-time team captain, he played under Coaches Mark Samson and Kyle Samson during his time with the Lights.
Following his playing career, Coach Chandler quickly transitioned into coaching, accepting a varsity position overseeing defensive backs and wide receivers at Havre High under Coach Samson. There, he played a key role in revitalizing the program, helping lead the Blue Ponies to the Class A state semifinals. He later returned to the Gallatin Valley to continue his teaching and coaching career.
With experience on multiple championship teams as both a player and coach, Coach Chandler has developed and mentored numerous All-State and collegiate football players. As head coach of the Raptors, he has led the program to three semifinal appearances in the past three seasons.
In addition to coaching, Coach Chandler teaches weight training and health enhancement at Gallatin High. He is passionate about fitness, the outdoors, and, most importantly, spending time with his family. He is married to his wife, Cydney, and is the proud father of their son, Tuff.

Tucker Yates

Coach
Varsity Defensive Coordinator & Defensive Line

Coach Yates originally grew up in Chinook, MT, before moving to Colstrip, where he became a dominant multi-sport athlete. He was a three-time state champion in shot put, three-time state champion in wrestling, and a three-time All-State football player for the Colstrip Colts. His success on the field earned him a scholarship to Montana State University, where he excelled as a defensive lineman for the Bobcats earning All-Big during his junior and senior year.

Coach Yates graduated from Montana State with a degree in K-12 Health and Physical Education and now serves as part of the Health Enhancement and Special Education departments at Gallatin High School. As the defensive coordinator, he led the Raptors’ defense to #1 in every major statistical category during the 2024 season.

Jp Flynn

Coach
Varsity Offensive Coordinator & Quarterbacks

Coach Flynn grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa, where he began playing football in fourth grade for the Rising Knights Football program. In high school, he became a standout two-way player for the Bettendorf Bulldogs, earning All-State honors as both an offensive and defensive lineman during his senior season. Throughout his high school career, the Bulldogs never finished outside the top four in the state of Iowa. In addition to football, Coach Flynn was a multi-sport athlete, participating in basketball, baseball, and track & field, where he competed in shot put and discus.

After high school, Coach Flynn earned a scholarship to Montana State University, where he played under Coach Jason McEndoo. He was a four-year starter for the Bobcats, earning four All-Conference selections, including two First-Team and two Third-Team honors. His senior season marked the beginning of the “Four-Peat” against Montana, and he was recognized as a First-Team All-American.

Following his collegiate career, Coach Flynn signed as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers. Unfortunately, during his time, he suffered a left patellar tendon tear. He was re-signed for a second season but re injured his knee during training camp, ultimately spending the year on injured reserve. Despite extensive rehabilitation efforts, he was unable to continue his professional playing career.

Now, Coach Flynn finds joy in spending time with his girlfriend, Carolyn, and her three kids—Callie, Markie, and Henry. Whether chasing them to basketball tournaments, baseball practices, or theater performances, he embraces his role as a mentor and supporter. When he’s not with family, he enjoys working out and fly fishing in Montana’s scenic rivers.

Noah Dahlke

Head Coach
 
Varsity Running Backs

Coach Dahlke grew up in an Air Force family, moving throughout the western U.S. before eventually settling in Bozeman. He has been passionate about football since elementary school and was part of Gallatin High School’s first graduating class in 2022. During his high school career, he was a two-time team captain, earning All-State honors as a wide receiver, All-Conference recognition as a cornerback, and All-State honors as a sprinter in track & field.

Currently, Coach Dahlke is a senior at Montana State University, pursuing a degree in civil engineering. He has been coaching at Gallatin High for the past three seasons, helping develop the next generation of athletes.

When he has time, he enjoys hunting and fishing with family and friends, making the most of Montana’s great outdoors.

Matt Clark

Coach
Varsity Wide Receivers/Passing Game Coordinator

Coach Clark was a three-sport athlete at Hellgate High School in Missoula before continuing his football career as a wide receiver at the University of Montana. After college, he played professionally for the British Columbia Lions in the Canadian Football League (CFL). In recognition of his accomplishments, he was recently inducted into the Montana Football Hall of Fame.

Coach Clark has been a Health Enhancement teacher in the Bozeman School District for 11 years, having been part of Gallatin High School since its opening. Over the years, he has coached football and golf, bringing a wealth of experience to the program. At GHS, he assists with the offense, focusing on the passing game.

Coach Clark is married to Jill Clark and is a proud father of two wonderful kids—his son, Jordan, and his daughter, Alex.

Trey Mounts

Coach
Varsity Slot Receivers

Coach Mounts was born and raised in Belgrade, Montana, where he attended Belgrade High School, graduating in 2017. A multi-sport athlete, he competed in football, baseball, basketball, and track, earning All-Conference and All-State honors in football, baseball, and track throughout his high school career.

His success on the field led him to the University of Montana Western, where he continued his football career on a scholarship. During his time with the Bulldogs, he was a three-time All-Conference selection, earning the honor in his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in K-12 Physical Education & Health, along with a minor in coaching.

Now in his third season coaching wide receivers at Gallatin High School, Coach Mounts takes great pride in being a Raptor and is passionate about the game of football.

Logan Pratt

Coach
Varsity Offensive Line

Coach Pratt was born and raised in Cheney, Washington, where he was a standout offensive and defensive lineman for the Cheney Blackhawks. A multi-sport athlete and an Academic All-American, he excelled both on the field and in the classroom during his high school career.

After graduating, he quickly transitioned into coaching at his alma mater while pursuing a teaching degree at Eastern Washington University. Over the years, he has coached various positions and levels, bringing a wealth of experience to his teams.

Coach Pratt holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is currently a math teacher at Gallatin High School.

Outside of coaching and teaching, he enjoys powerlifting, spending time outdoors, and being with his wife Tara who is expecting their first child this summer.

Brayden Konkol

Coach
Varsity Safeties

Coach Konkol grew up in Belgrade, MT, where he was a standout three-sport athlete at Belgrade High School, competing in football, basketball, and track. He earned All-Conference honors in all three sports and was an All-State football player during his junior and senior years.

After graduating in 2015, Brayden continued his football career at Montana State University on a scholarship. During his time with the Bobcats, he started 42 consecutive games, playing both safety and linebacker. He was a three-time All-Conference selection, earning First-Team honors in his junior and senior seasons. As a senior, he was named team captain and received All-American honors as a safety.

Brayden graduated from MSU in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering Technology.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and two golden retrievers.

Andy Damjanovich

Coach
Varsity Defensive Backs

Coach Damjanovich was born in Billings MT, raised in Belgrade MT. He was a 3 sport All Conference Athlete in Football, Basketball, and Track and Field at Belgrade High School. Graduated from Montana State with a degree in Health and Human Development with K-12 Physical Education and received his master’s degree from Abilene Christian University in Texas. Coach Damjanovich has taught Strength and Conditioning for 21 years and also trains with Josh Lewis at PreGame Fitness. He has over 15 years of coaching experience in High School Basketball and Football at Belgrade High School. As an assistant basketball coach, he has won 4 divisional basketball titles along with 4 semifinal appearances and 1 state championship appearance and 14 winning seasons. During his time coaching football coached Linebackers, Safeties, and the Offensive Line. Spent time as Special Teams Coordinator where they set the All-Class State record for TD Returns averaging 43 yds a return. Finished out his tenure as Defensive Coordinator winning multiple conference titles along with multiple semifinal appearances. Coach Damjanovich has two children, daughter Ainsley who attends Petra Academy in Bozeman and son Owen who enjoys football and basketball.

Nick Beauchaine

Coach
Varsity Cornerbacks

Coach Beauchaine was raised in the Gallatin Valley attending both Belgrade and Bozeman Public Schools. During his High School career Nick was a member of a State Championship team his junior year where he played alongside Head Coach Hunter Chandler and WR Coach Logan Codding. After graduating High School in 2012, he attended Montana Tech University on a football scholarship. Playing under Chuck Morrell and Pete Sterbick at Montana Tech was instrumental in Nick’s development on and off the field. Graduating in the Fall of 2016 with a bachelors in occupational safety and health. Nick now works for Langlas General Contractors in the safety and human resources department. Previously the Head JV and WR/DB Coach at Three Forks High School, Nick is entering his second year with the Raptor program.

JD Emmert

Freshman Quarterbackss & Linebackers

Coach Emmert grew up in Helena, Montana. Coach Emmert is a bruin and Saint legend. He was an all-state QB for the Capital Bruins. He went on to play at Carroll College. He was an all-conference and all-american QB for the Saints. He brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to our program. He enjoys spending time with his family and getting outside.

Aden Matosich

Freshman: Offensive & Defensive Line

Coach Matosich was born and raised here in the Gallatin Valley. Coach Mato Has been playing football since kindergarten. In high school, he earned All-state recognition in both Lacrosse and Football and was part of Gallatin’s first four-year class. He took part in a 7x back-to-back lacrosse championship run. He is currently pursuing a civil engineering degree at MSU.
